Nanci Bramson is an experienced litigator with particular expertise in family law. Over the last twelve years, Ms. Bramson has had a private family law practice, focusing on complex divorce and custody cases, including representation of victims of domestic violence. Ms. Bramson also has extensive experience on non-profit boards, including as a director on the board of the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, the leading provider in DC of pro bono representation of victims of domestic violence in divorce and custody proceedings. Ms. Bramson has a unique understanding of the impact of physical and/or emotional abuse on relationships and she brings that understanding to every client she represents. Prior to practicing family law, Ms. Bramson was a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice.
